Min Zheng

From local to global, Min Zheng began her career in sustainability at the grassroots level by developing community-based initiatives to increase environmental awareness among youths and communities. Min is knowledgeable about international environmental issues through her studies, travels and employment in Costa Rica, South Africa, China and Japan.

Building upon her grassroots experiences and international knowledge, Min worked for the Pacific Environment in San Francisco helping grassroots Chinese environmental NGOs tackle industrial water pollution. Her M.B.A. experience in supply chain management enabled her to connect the nonprofit and for-profit sectors under the theme of sustainability. These practical experiences included consulting for a consumer products company to develop inclusive business models and sustainable procurement strategies in Ghana, conducting an in-depth research on water sustainability in apparel industry through first-hand data, and exploring the win-win business strategy between NGOs and corporates through in-person interviews.

Min holds an M.B.A. in Sustainability from Bard College and a B.S. in Environmental Studies, with a focus in International and Community Development, from the University of Vermont.
